Find the symptom
Each article connects a symptom to checks, a corrective action and the expected result.
The installer cannot reach FreePBX
Check the FreePBX address and read the installer’s message. An HTTP or certificate warning lets you choose whether to continue; a connection failure needs to be corrected.
Dashboard or live views show no resources
Separate an AMI connection failure from an empty inventory, a hidden group or a restriction on the current account.
Reports are empty or delayed
Check filters and processing progress before assuming that source call records have disappeared.
Two reports show different call counts
Compare the same population, time reference and event definition before treating two totals as a data error.
The call map is blank or incomplete
Distinguish a missing map background from telephone numbers that cannot be assigned to a geographic prefix.
A recording is listed but will not play
Check playback authorization, the underlying audio file and the configured recording path without confusing an analysis record with an audio backup.
Recording analysis does not start
Identify whether analysis is disabled, waiting, suspended or failing before requesting another attempt.
Weekly or monthly reports do not arrive
Trace generation and delivery separately: a configured recipient does not prove that a report was produced or accepted by mail services.
A team leader cannot see a page, group or command
Review page permissions, action permissions and live resource visibility as three distinct checks.
Login or two-factor verification fails
Identify whether the rejection concerns the password, network policy, current authenticator code or protected server key.
An update was interrupted
Read the existing update plan and preserve its recovery material before deciding whether to resume or roll back.
A configuration restore did not restore calls or audio
Identify what the configuration archive actually contains and which separate backups are required for full recovery.
Return to the complete procedure.
Installation, administration and daily use: follow the relevant manual and check the result of every step.
